Your website isn’t just a digital brochure — it’s your business’s first impression, lead generator, and around-the-clock rep. But like all tools, it needs updates.

If your site hasn’t been touched in years (or ever), here are 6 clear signs it’s time for a redesign.

1. It Looks Outdated

Design trends evolve. If your website still looks like it belongs in 2010, it may be turning people away before they even read your content.

2. It Doesn’t Work on Mobile

More than half of all website traffic is mobile. If your site isn’t responsive or easy to use on phones, you’re losing potential customers daily.

3. It’s Hard to Update

If you avoid making changes because your site is clunky, slow, or built on an outdated platform, it’s time for a better solution.

4. It’s Not Showing Up on Google

Your site might be beautiful — but if it’s not optimized for search engines (SEO), people won’t find it. Local businesses need geo-specific SEO to get discovered in nearby searches.

5. It Doesn’t Reflect Your Business Anymore

Maybe you’ve rebranded, expanded, or changed services — but your website doesn’t reflect that growth. That disconnect can confuse your audience.

6. You’re Embarrassed to Share It

If you’re hesitant to send someone your URL, that’s your gut telling you it’s time for an upgrade.
